Originating in Germay in 2002 and expanding into the USA in 2009, SchoolJam, the world’s biggest competition exclusive to schools and colleges, is delighted to announce its arrival in the UK!
SchoolJam the UK’s No1 competition, is offering you the opportunity play at Europe’s biggest international music show in Germany and win an amazing back line of gear for your school or college!
The submissions will be viewed by a judging panel, made up of Tech Music School, music press and some of the world’s leading music equipment manufacturers. The finalists will then be invited to a live battle of the bands at a prestigious London venue, with the winners going on to perform at Musikmesse in Frankfurt. There, the winning band will officially be presented with a full range of music equipment on behalf of their school or college, as well as performing their very own live set!

SchoolJam - a brief overview
In 2002 SchoolJam started in cooperation with MTV/VIVA, the international Music Fair Musikmesse Frankfurt and many established rock and pop stars in Germany. SchoolJam, initiated by the music magazines KEYBOARDS, GITARRE & BASS; STICKS, is aimed at promoting popular music in schools and colleges and giving talented bands and performers a platform to find a larger audience.
In 2009 SchoolJam expanded into the USA in cooperation with NAMM and now in 2011, is delighted to launch SchoolJam UK in cooperation with Tech Music School and all its partners and sponsors in Great Britain.
