      Solaris Blues Band is much less a band in any other sense; it is rather some kind of an idea, or to be more precise, AN INTENTION – a beautiful intention of numerous and at the same time very different people (actually, few of them live in geographically very distant places), who wanted to harmonize and gather their creative energies out of sheer enthusiasm, and offer the result as some kind of lyrical-musical material. Thence, the three names mentioned her, which form a backbone of this band – brand, should be taken only conditionally, since they are only “hosts”, endlessly grateful to much bigger party of “guests”, without whose participation, skills and sensibility, in this play which we named “A Cry Riveted into a Pillow”, there would be no perceptible outcome or result, without any doubt. We say play, since we literally have played (somewhat unexpectedly, considering the age and experiences which we carry on our backs) often allowing ourselves to improvise a bit, and thus doing something that is, when you look at it strictly professionally, really quite illegitimate. Consequently, we acted completely freely, within the limits of individual possibilities, deeply convinced (maybe naively) that those emotions which we intend to emit through the air, despite minor technical deficiencies, will find their true harbor, because they are unadulterated, articulated without any calculations and, why not say it, completely authentic.
